We are about to wrap January up which means Valentines Day is just around the corner. Take my word, it’s worth getting up early to have that time and then it will just become part of your daily life and that is a blessing. Furthermore, I would recommend that if you are lucky enough to have someone to share your life with, make it a habit to share that coffee time together if you can carve it out of your busy schedule. Side note: I’m reading a fantastic book about habits right now called Atomic Habits by James Clear if you are interested in forming new habits in your life. We worked to make our coffee time a concrete habit. She’s particularly fond of the Black Butter, in case you were wondering. I love that coffee is the thing that starts our day as we slowly begin to get our minds flowing. That is our time to share with each other and talk and enjoy each other’s company before the busy day opens the door to all the wild things any given day can throw at us. We wake up extra early each day so we can brew a pot of coffee and sit down across from each other in our comfy chairs we scored at the Restore. Of all the wonderful things I can conjure up about coffee ( and that list is long ) my favorite thing about coffee is the morning ritual I have shared with my amazing wife for many years now.
